Legal Counsel

The Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various business units and control functions on legal requests. Draft, review, and negotiate various types of agreements and documents in support of the daily operations of the virtual asset exchange or other business line of the Group. Provide legal support concerning the group’s licenses and license applications. Monitor and analyze latest laws and regulations in the region, identifypotential risks, providemitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory and compliance obligations are fulfilled. Provide support to thelegal teamon other matters act the group level. Who are we looking for: A highly motivated self-starter interested in the virtual assets space. Common law qualification; admission to the Hong Kong bar preferred; anda minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in virtual assets, corporate finance, financial regulation, or general corporate work is preferred, especially in the blockchain or FinTech regulatory space preferred (in-house or law firm). Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin, Cantonese is a plus. Keen interest to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with frontier topics within the digital asset and FinTech space. Mature, independent and hands on.
