Job Description

Role Description The operations manager is part of the team responsible for the operations of our digital asset platform, reporting to the COO. The operations team is responsible for managing the business and operations of a digital assets market, including a spot crypto market, as well as developing the rules and policies for secondary market trading and custody operations. It operates and monitors the trading system, and ensures that the trading environment is transparent, fair, orderly and efficient according to the relevant rules and regulations. It also operates the custody system, and ensures that investor assets as kept safe, and transactions are conducted in accordance with operational needs in accordance with relevant rules and regulations. Responsibilities - Design policies and procedures that align with overall strategy and regulatory requirements - Design and lead the implementation of procedures across the operation of the trading and custody platform, including emergency produces - Develop and operationalize the risk management framework for the platform - Support the development of and supervise the execution of trading rules - Regularly audit operations to ensure compliance and suggest improvements to senior management - Analyze internal data to identify key business development opportunities. - Collaborate closely with the technology team to improve platform services and procedures. - Support the integration between internal and vendor systems, ensuring seamless workflows. - Proactively stay up to date about market trends, opportunities, risks and new projects, with a passion for the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in running trading operations, ideally in a 24/5 or 24/7 environment - Experience in operating a licensed financial service in a relevant industry; e.g., crypto/blockchain, fintech, financial services, or brokerage/exchange - Excellent organizational and leadership ability. Proven track record in building and managing teams at an enterprise multi-office scale. - Detail oriented, multi-tasking and able to handle various projects simultaneously under pressure. Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills. - Experience with designing workflows and coordinating tasks with IT teams - Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude. Flexible mindset to adapt to fast-changing market and new work tasks. - Degree in Business, Computer Science or other relevant field - Business proficiency in English (Cantonese and/or Mandarin welcome)
